Pat Olinger is a retired Mortgage Banker, who was a Board Member for Stepping Stones for Women of Domestic Violence as well as DuPage Habitat for Humanity. Both organizations are local, which is one of the reasons Strength of 100 fit so well...all funds are distributed to local charities voted on by the members, who learn first hand how their hard earned donations will be used.
"Volunteers don’t always have the time; they just have the heart." -Elizabeth Andrew
Diane Kowalski is also very involved with other local charities but felt this particular mission to start up this organization was absolutely the best direction to focus her energies on. Diane is the President of Symphony Search, which is a family owned and operated executive search company. She has always had a passion to serve others in her daily work and finds her business as well as this group to be the perfect avenues to do so. She lives in Bartlett with her husband Thomas Kowalski; they are still very much connected in the Roselle and Bloomingdale Chambers. They have three married children and enjoy spending as much time as possible with their three amazing grandchildren.
“None of us, including me, ever do great things. But we can all do small things; with great love and together we can do something wonderful.” Mother Theresa
Branka Poplonski has been a pillar of Bloomingdale community for many years. As an immigrant to this country for over 45 years she had to learn a new language, customs, as well as build a career in financial industry and Real Estate. As busy as her career keeps her, Branka has also served the community as a member of many business, civic, school and church organization. Personally, whenever she becomes aware of someone in need, she is always the first person to volunteer to help and encourage others to do the same.
Her Mother taught her: "We get by giving" she follows these words as much as she can. And this is major reason why she believes that Strength of 100 is such a great way to get involved, help and share.
Sue Ellen Eichholz is involved with multiple charities…but her heart lies in helping numerous charities through the mission of Strength of 100. Sue Ellen and Eric also live in Roselle with their 2 children, Samantha and Logan, which in addition to their school work are also involved in many sports and charities! Additionally, Sue Ellen is the President of the PTO at her children’s school, does volunteer work with Stepping Stones, PADs, Friends of the Library along with a few other local charities and enjoys spending time helping others.
"At the end of the day, it’s not about what you have or even what you’ve accomplished…it’s about who you’ve lifted up, who you’ve made better. It’s about what you’ve given back." – Denzel Washington
